The Gemäldegalerie of the Berlin State Museums is home to one of the finest and most exhaustive collections of European paintings worldwide. The collection provides a nearly seamless overview, from medieval panel painting all the way to Neoclassicism around 1800.
This opulent publication presents 200 of the most important and impressive paintings from this world-famous collection.
